Margaret (Rita) Kiernan passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Sunday, December 13th, 2020. She will be missed by children Sheila (Peter), Peter (Irene), Shawn (Connie), Chris (Patty); grandchildren David, Heather, Isaac (Kara), Caitlin, Shannon, Ellen, Giulia, Liam; and great-grandchild, Charlie. Although predeceased by her husband Chris, Rita had many happy hours working at the Levack District High School cafeteria, where, with her cheerful Irish disposition, she reminded students to keep their tabs from spiralling out of control. Rita’s fellow club members (Legion Branch 503, Onaping Falls Golden Age Club, Catholic Womens’ League) enjoyed her baking skills.
