Obituary for Norman John Catton

In Loving Memory of Norman John Catton, 59 years, who passed away at the Espanola Hospital on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020. After a lengthy illness, our beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend has passed away and is at peace. A fighter like no other to the end, never forgot his family and friends. He loved nature, his “Wild Child Boat”, his love of snow and snow machines, big or small were all named. Everyone loved Norm’s stories, which were many unbelievable “but true”. A known speed demon, not in cars but his boats. His furry friends were his family next to his loving wife who he absolutely adored. Norm’s passion in life was his family. His niece Erika was an inspiration and creativity for his tattoo’s and proud of his nephew Kevin who was so wise and intelligent. To his friends, VON family and coworkers, he loved each and everyone of you. Beloved and cherished husband of Michelle Catton (nee Prud’homme). Dear son of Eric and Cathy Catton both (predeceased). Treasured brother of Douglas Eric (predeceased), David and Debbie (Joe Rato). Will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews Ericka Harris (Trevor), Kevin Harris, Nick and Ben Rato, Ben King, Jeff King (Allison), Andre Prud’homme (Jaime), Mathew Prud’homme (Alycia) and Joelle and Dominique Huot as well as his mother and father in-law Don and Georgette Prud’homme and in-laws Don and Monique Prud’homme, Scott and Mona King and Rachelle Huot. Great uncle to six nieces and nephews; Finnlay, Lincoln, Charlie, Madeline, Grace, and Beau. Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation or service, Cremation. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the VON Espanola Branch would be appreciated.
