Obituary for Thomas Arnold Spears
SPEARS, Thomas Arnold.
It is with sadness for our loss but great joy for Dad’s sake that the family announces that he was called home to his Lord on December 8, 2020 at the age of 93. Arnold was a faithful and loving husband to Joan (nee Tulloch) who passed ahead of him into glory in 2018 after 59 years of marriage.
He was a wise and loving father to John, Peter (Jean) and David (Jennifer), and a beloved Grandpa to Elsa in whom he delighted. Arnold’s wise counsel and gentle sense of humour will be missed by many dear friends as well as many nieces and nephews from both the Spears and Tulloch families. Arnold spent his life studying and living out the Word of God and he made the most of every opportunity to share the good news of the gospel with all he encountered. Arnold’s greatest hope was to glorify his Saviour in both his life and his death and in this he surely succeeded. Donations to the Larchwood Bible Chapel would be appreciated.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 11:30am.
