Israel Teijeiro
It is with profound sorrow that the family of Israel Ebencio Teijeiro announces his passing at Health Sciences North on November 17th, 2020 at the age of 78. He was surrounded by the love of his family.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Marta December 3rd, 2018 and is survived by his children Isabel (Russ) and Marisol (Keith) and his cherished grandchildren Andrew and Grace Polack.
He was a selfless, devoted husband and father, always placing the needs of his family before his own. Israel, always charming and lovable, faced life’s challenges head on with a smile on his face. He will forever be remembered for his many talents, but especially for his culinary skills in the kitchen. His Spanish tortilla, empanadas, paella and pizza were without rival and he loved sharing his cooking with many whether it be generously donating his food for various multicultural and Hispanic festivities or just enjoying time at home with his family and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service but instead a family celebration of a life well lived. Rest in peace Abuelo.
