Bella Rita Piche (nee Beaulieu)
Bella Piche (nee Beaulieu) passed away Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Villa in her 99th year. She was born in Sudbury to Archie and Adele Beaulieu. Bella was a sister to Alphonse, Cecil, Victor (survived by his wife Claire), Raoul and Lucia, all of whom predeceased her. She was a lifelong resident of Sudbury and married Martin Piche in 1947. They were married for 64 years until his passing in 2011. Always a loving, devoted mom to Colleen (John), Bob (Jennifer) and Ron (Henny). Being a memere to Erin (Michael), Neal (Ashley), Brad and Julie (Evan) was her greatest joy. She became a great-grandmother to Sloan, Lincoln and Sawyer. Mom is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mom worked for several years as a cashier at Dominion Grocery Store. After working hard to get her high school equivalency, she became a receptionist at the Children’s Aid. Mom enjoyed golfing, playing a vigorous round of cards and spending quality time with family and friends at their camp on Trout Lake. Our mom was so very proud of all her children, always encouraging us to do our best. Family get-togethers around their dining room table were filled with laughter and unconditional love. With gratitude, a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gervais and the amazing, caring staff in Hillcrest neighbourhood at St. Joseph’s Villa for their wonderful care. According to mom’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation with entombment alongside her husband in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society – Sudbury/Manitoulin or The Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home.
