Obituary for Mary Susan Fitzpatrick (Malik)

It is with extreme sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved Mary Fitzpatrick. Born on September 17th, 1956, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jan and Czeslawa (nee Herka) Malik. Mary married the love of her life Gary in 1976and thus began their journey of love and loyalty to one another. Most caring and dedicated mother to her children Shelly (Ronnie) and Jan (Kayla). Her grandchildren Emerick, Karly, Kaylie and Ethan were blessed to have such a loving Bacia to spend quality time with. They were a constant source of joy, pride and laughter for her. Although Mary was not able to meet her soon to be grandson Matthew, he would have certainly been her source of joy, pride and laughter as well. Mary will be deeply and sadly missed by her loving brother John (Lorraine), her sister and best friend Sabina (friend Darren), her youngest sister Elizabeth (Gerry) whom she adored. Loving daughter in-law Mary Lou (Clem), predeceased), sister in-law Gail (Rodney), Cheryl, Wanda (Yoge), Leeann, brother in-law Bryan (Janice). She will now peacefully reunite with her mama, Tata, big brother Ben (Rhea) and younger sister Joanne (Peter) at heaven’s gates. Mary will be truly missed by all her nieces and nephews in which she held a special place in her heart for each of them.
She worked several years for the Rainbow District School board until her retirement in which she shared many great stories and met several friends along the way. Family was paramount to her. She shone when she spent time at many of her large family gatherings, always enjoying the meals of her Polish heritage. Mary brightened the lives around her with her gentle soul, warm heart, great sense of humor and the brightest smile. She will forever hold a place in all our hearts. It is with heavy hearts that we shall gather for our beloved Mrs. Wonderful and share beautiful memories of someone who battled courageously to stay with us longer. She was an inspiration to all that were fortunate to be a part of her life. Love is forever, till we all meet again. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury where friends may gather from 2-5 & 7-9pm Thursday. Funeral prayers in the R. J.
