Catherine Lynn Chellew
67 years
Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
Daughter of Inza and Thomas Chellew both predeceased. Special friend of the Poitras/McKay and Patenden families and fiancé of Donald Roy. Cathy spent the last 18 years living at Guardian Angel Respite Care where she endeared herself to residents, staff and visitors. She was often the first person to welcome anyone to the home and couldn’t wait to chat with them. She was a great helper with residents and was very proud of her role of sister to Rikki, Stacy, Steven and Crystal. The light of her life was the little ones who visited calling her aunty Cathy and she loved nothing more than walking them up and down Bloor Street in their stroller. Cathy’s presence was larger than life and she will be very missed by Jann McKay, staff, residents and visitors at the home for a long time to come.

Cremation with interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1pm Wednesday.
