Loving mother of Jason Abel (Constance), Adrian Abel (Colleen), Michelle Elliot (Mikey),Angus Junior “A.J.” and Megan. Cherished grandmother of Oakland, Lauren, Spring, Amber, Logan, Evan, Tyson, Migizi, Leeland, Kingsley, Jovi-Lee, Kalina, Huxley, Colin< Dante, Quinn, Leo. Special auntie-grandma to Amira. Predeceased by siblings Madeline Bitti (Vince surviving), Jennifer Copegog (Laurence surviving) and Joseph Roy (Daphne) both predeceased. Beloved sister of Maxine Shawongonabe, Lloyd Shawongonabe (Audrey), Lawrence Shawongonabe (Joanne), Terry Wabegijig (Olive), Clarence Roy (Catherine), Brenda Jacko, Aubina Neberniquit (Dean), Sylvia Recollet (Bruce), Roxanne Recollet (Ted), Raymond Abel (Janis), Gertie Manitowabi, Carol Trudeau, Linda Lewis, Vivian Fox, Shelley Laronde, Anne Marie Recollet and honorary brother Gerard Sagassige and recognition to N'Swakamok Family. She was cherished by her many nieces and nephews and godchildren Shannon Manitowabi and Katelynn Abel. She was a member of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek roots in Wikwemikong.

Funeral Service at the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Complex Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at 11am. Cremation with interment in the family plot. Friends may call after at the complex after 1pm Friday.
