Obituary for Phil Carrier

Phil Carrier December 20th 1944 – August 7th 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one Phil Carrier at the age of 75. Phil was born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, moved to Levack at the age of 16 where he met his wife of 54 years, Nonie Cameron. In his younger years Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing, sledding and skiing. Later in life being at the cottage on Windy Lake with family and friends gave him years of happiness.
Phil worked for 37 years as a rigger in Levack for Inco.
Phil was the proud father of son Timothy wife Monique St. Louis and daughter Cynthia husband David Aelick. He was a very proud Papa to his grandsons: Robert (Malia), Greg (Carrie), Brandon (Tiffany), Christopher (Paige) and Jayson (Brittany),
His heart was filled with love for his great grandchildren Makenna, Noah, Christian, Ethan, Deacon, and Jaxon. Also survived by loving Sister in Law Elizabeth Carrier and brothers in law Jim Cameron, also many nieces and nephews, Predeceased by his loving parents David and Anastasia Carrier, and 12 siblings.
As per Phil’s wishes there will be no service. We would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North, on 7th floor North Tower, and ICU for all their care and kindness they gave to Phil, Also for the support and compassion to our family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sudbury Diabetes Association, and / or Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice.
Cremation entrusted to Park Lawn Cremation Services.
