In loving memory of Alphonse Larose who passed away on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at Health Sciences North at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Yvonne Larose. Loving father of Henriette (Alex Osgood), Claire (Sam Dougherty), Pauline (Rabah Bouhloul), and extended family Johnny, Junior, Richard, Pauline, Rosanne and Susan. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Cecile of Sudbury and predeceased by Leo, Rhéa, Lucienne, Simone, Germain and Renée. Dear god father to Danielle Duschene and Richard Carrière. Predeceased by his parents Romeo and Georginna Larose. He worked with Inco for 31 years as a miner. Alphonse enjoyed fishing, camping, country music, nature, wrestling, hockey, playing cards, trucks and his garden. Was happiest was surrounded by his family.
A funeral service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Friday, August 14th, 2020 at 3pm. Friends may gather after 12pm Friday. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Due to the new COVID-19 directives, 50 people or less in our visitation room and 80 people or less in our chapel. Facemasks are mandatory.
