It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eileen Armstrong (nee Doran), who passed away July 30, 2020 at HSN. Left to mourn is her beloved husband Alfred who she married in 1957. Loving mother of Roger Cloutier (Carole), Robert (Jamie), Patricia (Robert) Racette, Elizabeth (Stephen) Green, Colleen (Guy) Lagace, Erin (Paul) Lafantaisie, Keith (Suzanne), Glenda (Kevin) Marcoux and Brian (Laurie). Treasured grandmother to Robert, Michelle, Stephen, Brittney, Krista, Andrea, Andrew, Rebecca, Tyler, Dan, Paul, Kaitlin, Jesse, Seanna, James, Kyra, Cody, Ashley and Ryleigh. Great grandmother to Julien, Madilynn, Kohl (predeceased 2016) Khloe, Audrey, Adrien, Emmy, Annabelle, Zachary and Landon. Sister of Eamon (Isabel) Doran, Peter (Judy) MacDonald and Kathleen (Dan) Proulx (predeceased). She is sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was born December 19, 1935 in Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland to the late Albert and Bridgid (McAlister) Doran. She immigrated to Canada in 1946 where she completed her schooling and started working at the Sudbury General Hospital until starting her family. She had a beautiful voice and showcased it in various ways, whether it be singing with the choir at the Church of the Epiphany, or with the Bel Canto Choir. She also enjoyed singing for the Irish Heritage Club where they always requested her to sing O Danny Boy. Her family kept her busy throughout the years and when time permitted she enjoyed reading a good book, knitting or watching old movies.
Mom, we love you and will miss you every day. Forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.

Mom, I will cherish our special memories and time together, especially seeing you on Saturdays. Whether it was going for an appointment or doing things around your home, when something would give us an issue you'd always say "never a dull moment" and we'd share a good laugh. Rest peacefully Mom and know that we love you and will miss you forever. Erin & Paul, Paul, Candice & Zachary, Jesse, Kaitlin & Nico xoxo

Mom, I sure wasn’t ready or expecting you to leave us so suddenly. I will miss my visits and phone calls and showing you all the pictures of my plants and garden while we chatted.
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face and until we meet again
May the lord hold you in the palm of his hand

Rest in peace Mom, We love you and miss you. Glenda, Kevin, Kyra & Cody xoxoxo
