Obituary for Jody Hennie McAuliffe (Meesters)
In loving memory of Jody McAuliffe (nee Meesters), who passed away at the age of 54 on July 1st, 2020 at the place she loved most, the camp on Lake Panache.
Loving wife of 33 years to Tim McAuliffe. Caring and supportive mom of Caitlin, TJ, and Cassidy. Precious daughter to Diana and Bert Meesters and responsible sister to Kevin Meesters and sister-in-law Vanessa. Missed by aunts and uncles Linda and Paul Villgren, and Art (predeceased) and Linda Maki. Greatly loved by her grandparents Eino and Sylvia Maki (both predeceased) and Hendrik and Hendrikjy Meesters (both predeceased). Dear daughter-in-law of Jeanie Stinson (Jim) and Tom McAuliffe (Trudy). Cherished sister-in-law to Tracey Lacroix (Rob), Jeanie McAuliffe (Scott), and Vicki Laframboise (Phil). Welcoming mother-in-law to Erik, Aly and Raschad. Loved by aunts, uncles, and cousins from Sudbury, the Netherlands and London, Ontario. She will be missed dearly by many friends, family, her dogs Kira and Whiskey and her many granddogs.
Jody was well known for her smile. She would light up any room she was in from the ringette/hockey rink to family gatherings. She lived for family and camp and taught us that it is the small things and moments together in life that matter most. Jody adored her husband Tim and was an amazing, fun and loving mother to her three children. She always made sure everyone was having a good time and saw the best in every person she met. She loved deeply and lived a fuller life in 54 years than most do in a lifetime.
