Our sincere condolences to the entire family. We loved Ed - he was truly a great guy who was passionate about family, friends, work and the great outdoors. We enjoyed our visits both in Marathon and in Sudbury. Jennifer always made sure he knew when we were going to be in town, and he and Monique always made sure they popped over to see us. Ed will live on in the memories shared by Jennifer and Sarah and the grandkids. We are truly sorry for his loss.

I’ll miss you Ed
For that one week a year at deer camp, the talk never ended.
We had more than a few interesting conversations.
I’m grateful our paths crossed.
Rest well old friend.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my old friend Ed. Our friendship goes back to the mid 70's. Ed was instrumental in encouraging me to finish my engineering degree. That encouragement and friendship helped a lot in this life. We shared a lot of interests. Of the very few people I considered as friends, Ed was the only one who made the effort to keep in touch. I shall miss my old friend.

I was saddened to hear the news of Ed's passing. He was truly a great man who in life always put his family first before himself. In part, my knowing Ed and his influence on me helped me become the person that I am today. Ed will be truly missed by all of his family and the many people that called him a true friend. We have truly lost a great one. To his family, I pass on my sincerest sympathy. Robert Park

So sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. We will miss him at our annual deer hunt. Loved hearing him tell his stories of previous hunts, his love of his “collection” and working in the mines. With sympathy, Raymond Lamothe
