Robert “Bob” Sagima
84 years
It is with great sadness that we announce his peaceful passing, Sunday morning, June 28th, 2020 at his residence in Sudbury. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Labelle) and Deanna (nee O’Donnell) (predeceased). Loving father of Derek (Kim) and Shelley (John). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Deanna, Evelyn and Emerick, his brother Jean-Paul (Georgette), and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Emeric and Annette (nee Blais) Sagima and by his stepfather Jean Cayen.
Born in Timmins, Bob worked as an X-ray technician at Sudbury General Hospital, and for many years, in heavy equipment sales and as branch manager for Crothers/Caterpillar. During his retirement, Bob enjoyed visiting family, meeting up for coffee with friends, experimenting with new recipes, watching a good football game and enjoying a glass of his homemade wine. He will forever be missed and remembered.
The family will honour his wishes of no visitation. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. Private Funeral Committal Prayers will be held at Chelmsford Cemetery.
