Obituary for Bernadette Anne Edmunds

In loving memory of Bernadette Anne Edmunds (nee Sansone) 70 years who passed away peacefully at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020.

Beloved wife of Brian Alvin Edmunds predeceased in 2011. Loving mother of Colette Berube (Dan) of Sudbury and Andrew of Sudbury. Cherished “Grams Bear” of Emma and Ethan. Dear daughter of Salvatore J. predeceased and Helen M. Sansone (nee Hoggett) of Toronto and daughter-in-law of Carl and Ardith Edmunds (nee Geldart) both predeceased. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Bernadette retired from the Greater Sudbury Public Library in April of 2020. Bernadette was involved with Girl Guides of Canada since she was a little girl. She enjoyed camping at Sand Bay Camp on Lake Agnew and listening to Elvis Presley.

The family greatly appreciates the loving care that the staff at Health Sciences North, Northeast Cancer Centre and the Maison McCulloch Hospice provided to Bernadette and her family.
A private family service was held at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home. She is buried in the Civic Memorial Cemetery with her husband Brian.
