Passed away on Sunday, June 14th, 2020 at Health Sciences North.
Husband of Marie-Anne Plourde (nee Gascon). Loving father of Danny Plourde (Sue Larocque), Mike Plourde, Marc Plourde (Alison Blackhurst) and Nancy Brisson (Moe). Cherished grandfather Meagan & Alex Storey, Nicholas Plourde, Natasha Plourde, Stephanie McKnight and April McKnight and great grandfather of Andrew Storey. Predeceased by his parents Camile & Ida Plourde (nee Dugas). Dear brother of Jeanine (Maxime predeceased), Rita (Rosaire predeceased), Simone (Norm predeceased), Aline (Normand), Liliane (Ronald predeceased), Claude, Jacques (Jacqueline), Yollande predeceased, Armand predeceased, Rolland predeceased and Ronald predeceased. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
At Emile’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment in the Valley East Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home.
