BLANEY- Armande Dolores (Larocque). In loving memory of Armande Blaney who passed away on Friday June 5, 2020 at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury, at the age of 99. She is survived by her children, Carol (John), Lynda (George), Colleen (Michael), and Bryan (Christiana). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Julie), Peter (Stephanie), Kyelene (Nem), Stephen, Kimberley (Brad), Kelly (Jason), Scott (Sarah), Kristine, Kevin (Janine), and Eric; step-grandson Mark; great grandchildren, Carter, Sadie, Drewcila, Alexander, Benson, Riley, Emma, William, Wilder and Jude; great step-grandchildren Frances, Dax, Jett, Owen and Scarlette; great great step-grandchildren Aurore and Darius. She is predeceased by grandson David. She is also predeceased by her husband William, her parents Emery and Florence (Laporte) Larocque, and her siblings Noella, Gabriel, Clemence, Leonard, Claude and Sylvio. Armande was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 60 years at Holy Trinity Parish and later at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Armande was an avid seamstress and sewed for weddings and every occasion and had a large clientele. She also worked many years at K-Mart. Many thanks to the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for their kindness, compassion and support! A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at 11am. (Friends may gather at the church after 10:45am Saturday). Facemasks are mandatory. Donations to the Alzheimer Society and to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.
