Obituary for Marilyn Bernice Nadalin

Marilyn Nadalin
Wednesday, June 3, 2020

In loving memory of Marilyn Nadalin (nee Rapsky), who passed away peacefully at 83 years surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Karl and Annie (nee Baby) Rapsky, beloved wife of Lino (2004), devoted mother to Ken (Michele Fisher) and Victoria (Harald Kreutzberg), and cherished “Grammie” to little Marlowe. Marilyn was born in Sudbury, Ontario in 1936, where she spent her entire life. She was a proud Sudburian, always ready to express its virtues. One day in the early fifties, Marilyn met the handsome young man next door, who had arrived from northern Italy to visit his brother. They fell in love and built a home, family, business and life together. The house that Lino built for her was Marilyn’s pride and joy. She kept it beautifully decorated and in perfect condition. She was also an avid gardener; there is an abundance of flowers still blooming in her yard. Over the last year, her granddaughter Marlowe became the light of her life, and she spent a great deal of time visiting her every month. They formed a loving bond that will last forever. Marilyn was an active Grammie, who enjoyed yoga to the end of her life. She was a long-time member of the YMCA, where she made many friends. Marilyn will be missed by her children, granddaughter, friends, brother, many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by nephews Robbie Kirschner and Alessio Piasentin.
