I was so sad to learn of the passing of BOB a great friend. I remember visiting for my job interview that he took time to take Judy and I around Sudbury and end up at his house for a beer. The soft sell was evident when I took the job and with that unassuming way told me that he hoped I would. He was in my corner when I was elected as Alderman and later MPP . I will always remember how he directed marginal students to my program especially the Ukrainian girl who bonded with us especially my Ukrainian wife.Great guy and excellent leader. Greetings from Campbell River B.C.

Dear Tyler Family. Cheryl and I send our most sincere condolences to all of you. I have fond memories of the first time i met Bob when he taught a hunter's safety course in the basement of his home. Some years later I became friends with Kim and was there often got to enjoy Bob's great sense of humour and his unusual taste in dodgy Dodge Darts. Your friends, Cheryl and Ken

The Guidance Department at Sudbury Secondary School was a home away from home for many students because of the warmth, friendliness, and helpfulness of Bob and the entire Guidance Team! There was no mistaking Bob's charm. His a beaming smile and laughter could fill the halls and brighten your saddest day. Though the years have passed, my time as a Coordinator in the Work For Credit Program at Sudbury Secondary was made so much easier and so memorable because of the camaraderie and expert advice from Bob Tyler and Joe Sintic. My sincere condolences to the family! Sending a big hug from Victoria, BC.

To Dave and the Tyler family, please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Dave spoke many times (at work) of his visits with Robert over the past few years. He was dearly loved by you all and I feel he loved you just as much. May your loving memories be of comfort to you all.

To the Bob & Vonnie Tyler Family, thank you for this notice of the death of my former colleague at Tech and SSS, Bob Tyler. The photo you have chosen is the face with great smile and twinkling eyes that were a constant in the school hallways and Guidance Office. It was a blessing to work with such a fine gentleman, whose upbeat ways added so much to a wonderful atmosphere. After retirement, we continued association through other interests. I am so glad that Bob lived to 91, and leaves with us a positive legacy. God bless all of the Tyler Family as you cherish the many memories.
