In Loving Memory of Carole Jalbert
70 years
Sunday, March 29th, 2020 at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury.

Beloved wife and best friend of Gilles Jalbert for 50 years. Loving mother of Ian (wife Kim), cherished grandmaman of Parker. Loving godmother to Shaun, Deanna, and Tammy. She was born in LaSarre, Quebec to parents Rene DeGrammont and Julienne Gauthier, both predeceased, and raised by her stepparents, Albert and Melba DeGrammont, both predeceased.

Carole was a dedicated teacher; it was her life’s calling. Carole was like a mother to every child. In her retirement years, she loved spending time at camp, photography, being with her friends, and bluegrass music. She will be lovingly missed and never forgotten.

At Carole’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home,

Good night, sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite you. Je ne n'oublierai jamais! A toi Gilles et à toute ta famille, mes sympathies!

Dear Gilles and Family,
Our deepest sympathies. We recall with fondness, her warm smile and positivity....including at hockey arenas, in hospital hallways or other places our paths would cross. Her love of family, extended family, and students shone through her. May she Rest In Peace and may your memories of happy times together, soon replace the grief you must be experiencing now.
Sincerely Art and Helene McDonald

So So Sad to hear of Carole's passing. We remember when as a young child She came to live with Bert & Melba, and grew up here and Married Gilles. She was truly a Skeadonian...... Heartfelt condolences to Gilles and ALL of the family,
