Margaret “Meg” Frances (neé McClory)
74 years old, who died peacefully at home in her sleep the morning of Friday March 13th, 2020 after a long arduous fight with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Predeceased by her parents Robert McClory (1974) and her mother Irene Ellacott (1951).
Beloved wife and best friend for 53 years minus 12 days to George Zilliax. Loving mother of Christopher (Karla), Caroline (Jesse) and Steven.
Adoring grandmother (Gramsy Pie) to Ella and Shay of Vancouver and Zane and Grayson of Seattle.
Meg grew up on a farm near West Monkton, ON and went to high school in Hamilton and Waterdown. She studied nursing at Hamilton General. Meg lived and raised her family in Listowel, Stratford and Sudbury. She transferred with her husband George to Kitchener, Victoria and back to Sudbury. Meg worked in Listowel Memorial Hospital, Chanticleer Shakespeare In lieu of flowers, donations to The Elgin Street Mission would be appreciated.
A Memorial Service celebrating Megs life will happen at Glad Tidings Church 1101 Regent Street, Sudbury at a future date and time and notification will be posted
