In loving memory of Laurent “Larry” Marier who passed away Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at Pioneer Manor at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Lillian (Laforest) Marier of Sudbury. Loving father of David (Carmen) and Jocelyne. Cherished grandfather to Joel Marier (Brenda), Julie Gratton (Daniel), Jenelle Marier (Jordi), Justin Marier (Cassie) and Kaitlyn and Matthew Monk and great grandfather of Danica, Arielle, Caleb, Anabelle, Julien, Angelle and Luca. Predeceased by his parents Elias and Lucienne (Rochon) Marier and brother Donald. Larry worked for 25 yrs. as a butcher and 25 yrs. as an Inco miner until his retirement. He also was a long-time volunteer firefighter. The family wishes to thank Pioneer Manor and his nurses Helen and Donna. If desired, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
