Peacefully, Friday, February 7th, 2020 at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Ben Scagnetti. Loving mother of Dean (Haley) and Ben Jr. (Barbara), and predeceased by Dayle and Frank. Cherished grandmother of Cristina (Nathan), Alisa (Tyler), Drew, Darcy, Hughy, Kobe, predeceased by Dylan, and great-grandmother of Rowan and Jude. Dear daughter of Jack and Christine Smith both predeceased. Dear sister of Ken Smith and Monica Kelly both predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Folly Markle. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews.
Helen was born in Haileybury on May 13th, 1931 and married Ben on April 14th, 1951. She enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, curling, bocci parties, golfing, boating, and going to the casino with her girlfriends. She was an excellent cook, and a very loving grandmother. In later years, she enjoyed winters with her husband Ben at their Sarasota, Florida, home.
