Obituary for Dennis Leclair

LECLAIR, DENNIS

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Dennis Leclair. He passed quietly and peacefully with his family at his side, at Health Sciences North on Saturday, February 1st, 2020. He was born in 1934 and raised in Copper Cliff, where he lived for 65 years. Beloved son of Romeo and Alice (Lacelle) Leclair both predeceased. Beloved husband of 59 years of Anita (Langlade) Leclair. Loving father of Kelly Leclair-Brault (Jacques) and Richard predeceased. He was totally devoted to his loving and precious granddaughters, Kathryn (Jason) and Kara, and his special great-grandchild, his little heart, Aubrey. Predeceased by his brothers Paul Lacelle, Rheal (Rex), and Bernard “Teedy”, and sister Dorgere (“Dolly”) Ruddy. He is survived by his sister Patricia Laplante (Larry) and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was a dedicated Music Director for many years at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Copper Cliff and a member of Our Lady of Hope Church Choir. He had a lifelong career with Canada Post in many positions, retiring in 1991 as Post Master of Lively.
