In Loving Memory

Maria Cimino
of Sudbury, who passed away Wednesday morning, January 29th, 2020 at the Pioneer Manor long-term Care. She was born on October 10, 1925 in Lamezia Terme, Calabria, Italy, and married Guerino Cimino in Italy in 1941. Maria came to Sudbury in 1984 from Italy. A faithful Roman Catholic she attended St. Anthony’s Church.
A very hard working, strong and independent woman, an avid gardener until recently. She will be remembered as a very sociable person who generously shared her gift of conversation with neighbours and friends especially over a cup of coffee at her home.
Maria was extremely devoted to her loving family who will sadly miss her but never forget her.
Beloved wife of Guerino Cimino (predeceased) of Sudbury. Loving mother of Giuseppe Cimino (predeceased) (wife Francesca), Rachela Rocca (predeceased) (husband Antonio), Giovanna Folino (husband Nicola), Rosina Belzile (husband Francois), and Giovanni Cimino (wife Sabrina Belli) all of Sudbury. Cherished “Nonna” of 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of Pasquale and Filomena Cimino predeceased. Dear sister of Giovanna Mastroianni and Pietro Cimino of Italy, Rosina Rocca of Australia, and Francesca Rocca of Sudbury.
