Obituary for Phyllis Kaye

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Phyllis Kaye (nee Dew), on December 9, 2019, at the age of 82.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Dr. Brian H. Kaye, and her parents Alfred and Mabel (nee White) Dew. Beloved mother of Andrew (Marilena), Sharon, Alison (Ken), and Christopher (Joanne). Cherished nanny of Adrian (Mia), Allesandro, Hazel, and Sawyer. Proud great-nanny to Kasper. Deeply missed by special Canadian “sister” Susan, and grand-doggies Ivy, and Kodiak.
Phyllis loved her family and greatly loved by all whose lives she touched. A woman of deep faith she lived each day to the fullest. Her life-long love of knitting and crocheting provided continued enjoyment right up to her very last day. She spent hours in her sun room, with her dogs by her side, creating blankets for Project Linus and the Cancer Center. The hands in our community that were kept warm by the mittens she made, are unnumbered.
Phyllis’s family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Duncan, and the wonderful PSWs who cared for Phyllis over the years, especially Tammy, Julie, Lindsay, and Katrina.
A celebration of Life will be held on December 18, 11:00 at Huntington University.
Donations can be made to S.A.I.N.T.S Dog rescue Sudbury, or to a charity of choice.
