Nonna, I'll miss taking you outside after lunch in your white sun hat that we loved. I'd take a stroll with you through the garden, showing you the plants and the birds, and even the squirrel eating from the bird feeder. I knew how much you loved nature and how it made you smile.

We'd sit by the door and talk, and if you were feeling hungry, I'd buy you some icecream from the little shop inside Pioneer. Maple Walnut was your favourite. You would say you didn't want any more, but then you'd continue eating, smiling all the while.

I'll miss spending time and caring for you, and it'll be a memory I'll never forget.

Rest in Peace, Nonna. Nonno is waiting for you in heaven.
