Obituary for Paula M. Tarini (Antonioni)

In loving memory of Paula Tarini (nee Antonioni) who passed away peacefully at home just shy of her 60th birthday with her family by her side. Paula was determined and fought a courageous battle with cancer. Her positivity and faith were her driving force. Greatly missed by her husband of 39 years Luigi Tarini. Cherished mother of Cara (Julien Marleau) and Kyle (Caroline Auger). Survived by her sister Elaine Noble (Mike) and brother John Antonioni (Dawn MacKelvie), nieces and nephews Ryan Noble (Jessica Armstrong), Erin Noble (Tyler Campbell), Caston and Michaela Antonioni and Ethan and Alexa Campbell. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Irene Antonioni. Dear daughter-in-law of Maria Tarini.
Paula was born and raised in Sudbury and married her best friend on September 6th, 1980. She worked with Sudbury Hydro and retired after 38years as the Supervisor of Energy Conservation. In 1988, she and Luigi opened Cara’s on Lorne Street. In her spare time before and after her retirement, she was always popping into the store making sure everything was running smoothly. In 2012 they bought a retirement home to spend the winters in Arizona. Paula was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and was recently awarded by them the Lifetime Achievement Award. A special thanks to her amazing friends and doctors Dr. Garrioch, Dr. Pitre, Dr. Singh and NP Danielle. In the words from the book of Timothy “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” sums up Paula’s tenacity and class in which she handled everything.
