Obituary for Stewart Robert Irvine

In Loving Memory
of
Stewart Robert Irvine
78 years
Peacefully on October 18th, 2019 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
Beloved son of Bernard and Thelma (Owen) Irvine both predeceased.
Dear father of Robert Stewart of Thunder Bay, Kathy Ann of Hamilton, Joyce Elizabeth of Thunder Bay.
Dear brother of James (Jim) Owen Irvine (deceased) of Hamilton. John Howard Irvine (deceased) of Sudbury, Sydney Lawrence Irvine of Sudbury, Patrick (Pat) Bryan Irvine (deceased) of Hamilton. Stewart will be sadly missed by niece and nephews: James of Sudbury, Steven of Toronto, Michael of Sudbury, Patricia of Sudbury, Jason of Ajax and Jeff of Napanee.

Stewart enjoyed life, he spent many summers with his Mom and family at camp on Trout Lake, and there he kept the grounds clean and doing chores for his Mom. He enjoyed blueberry picking on the islands and boating and hunting for drift wood on the rocky shores to carve or shape into various characters. Stew enjoyed fishing for black bass and hunting partridge with his brothers. Stewart had a great sense of humor and had a wit about him.

A very special thank you to his longtime friend, Tony D’Angelo for providing Stewart with a roof over his head, work and giving Stewart responsibility in life.
Also thank you to Carmen, Tony and Mario at Carmen’s Barber Shop where Stewart hung out and helped with chores and ran errands for.
Also thank you to Dennis and Kim and staff at Peddler’s Pub for giving Stewart odd jobs to do and helping him in his everyday life and being his friend.
Thanks to Jeff Kang and staff at Sapporo Restaurant for helping and keeping a watchful eye over him.
Others that need recognition for helping Stewart in his life journey are: Shyanne of Tangles Hairstyle, Trevor and Cathy of Cedar Rexall, and Nancy of Elm News.
Stewart was a very popular fixture in the Cedar, Durham and Elm Street area and was a friend to many people and bystanders and was willing to give a hand to all.
At Stewart’s request there will be no visitation or service.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Lung Association or The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
