Beloved wife of Keith Munro predeceased 2005. Loving mother of Darryl Munro and Elaine Rivest. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Jeffrey, Natasha, and Sasha and great grandson Lucas. Dear daughter of Olive and William McLenaghan both predeceased. Dear sister of Alta Rodger (Clive predeceased), Eileen Malette (Ray predeceased), Carolyn Horton (John), and William Henry “Bill” McLenaghan predeceased 1996 (Shirley, friend John McConnell). Dear sister in law of Willingdon Munro predeceased and Mildred. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, and their families.

Jean taught with the Sudbury School Board for 36 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Coniston, Copper Cliff, and Falconbridge Curling Clubs, the Falconbridge Seniors, and the Ontario Teachers’ Federation. She was a member of the Church of the Ascension, and her retirement years were devoted to her family.

At Jean’s request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A committal service will be held at the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church of the Ascension or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
