The family announces with great sorrow, Sheila’s passing with her family by her side on Saturday, August 17th, 2019. Sheila was the beloved wife of 60 years of Edward Landrie, mother to Sherri (Fabio Marin), Susan (Salvatore Scola) and Sandra (Rob Urwin). Special Nana to Jessica (Josh Mieto), Trisha, Lisa (Al Larocque), Erika (William Weber) and Megan. Great Grandmother to Anna-Rose and Jake. Survived by her brother Ernie Hedican, predeceased by parents Helena and Anthony Hedican, sister Marie and brother Donny. Mom was the heart of the family, she was a selfless, kind and loving individual. She enjoyed her BC adventure trips skiing with her ski buddies. Sheila will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her many relatives and friends. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NEO Kids Foundation would be appreciated. Finishing with Sheila’s words of wisdom, “Be good to each other – as the years pass by, it is only family that really cares.” (Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home)

Dear Ed and family. Our sincere condolences. My husband and I enjoyed Sheila’s hospitality when we skied at Silver Star a few years ago. Sheila and I were in the Book club for a few seasons with our Ski Buddies. She will be remembered for her kindness, graciousness and her wonderful sense of humour. She was a fine woman and her loss is tragic for all of you. We are much richer for having known her. Sincerely,

Susan Lanoue and Bill Harrison.

Ed, Sherri, Susan & Sandra: We are sending our thoughts & prayers to all of you at this difficult time. W are grateful for the visit to dad that Susan so graciously organized. It meant a lot. We were able to see pictures of the grandchildren which Sheila so proudly shared. We are thinking of you in this time of sorrow and know that wonderful memories will sustain you. Mary-Lynn & Dale

Ed & family - Loren and I are so sorry for your loss. Sheila was one of many from Ontario who took us, from South Carolina, into the Ski Buddies group. I have missed seeing Sheila’s graceful skiing style & trying to emulate it. I have missed her friendship. I know you will miss her within your loving family. ....Mary Bostick & Loren Huber
