In his younger years, he was an all-around handyman, happily doing repairs for his neighbours in “Little Italy” in Copper Cliff, which he was proud to call his home. He was also a life member of the Italian Club of Copper Cliff, and a member of St. Stanislaus Parish for many years.

The family wish to thank the staffs of St. Joseph’s Villa and Meadowbrook Retirement Village for the excellent and compassionate care that they have provided to Romano over the past 16 years.

As per Romano’s wishes, there is no public visitation. Private family service with interment at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Walden. Donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be gratefully accepted. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. For donations and messages of condolence,
