Loving father of Lisa (Mike) and Jeff. Cherished grandfather of Alexandre, Cameron, Olivia and Jake. Dear son of Joseph and Bertha Marois both predeceased. Dear brother of Jeannine, Lorraine, Shirley and predeceased by Rita. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bernie had written some thoughts for his obituary to make it easier for his family, it is written in his words as followed;
Married the love of my life Millie in 1963 she is always in my thoughts and never forgotten.
Loved and adored my 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Worked at Sears for 36 years as a salesman in the major appliance department. Enjoyed life at the cottage on the Wolsley Bay with immediate family and friends. Many a good times and memories were had by all. Loved fishing and hunting in my younger years and bragging about the amount of fish we caught in the good old days, compared to now. Also loved sports from broomball to hockey, baseball and bowling all for many years. Also a die-hard Chicago Blackhawks Fan (Forever). I took incredible pride in the success of my children and grandchildren and always tried giving them my best advice, opinion and guidance when possible. Love you all tremendously. I will miss you guys.
