Michèle was my cousin.
Even though there were oceans between our homes, we shared multiple days of summer laughter in our youth.
As Doris said, Michèle often visited our grandparents here in Germany and always made herself friends with everybody within the shortest amount of time.
In the summer of 1981 when Michèle was a beauty of 17 years (I was 13 and thought she was the coolest girl in the world), my parents (her uncle Emil and her auntie Anni) took her with us on a vacation in northern Italy. We had such a fun time and took every chance to get to know each other better and to bond.
Two years later in 1983 when Michèle and Jed wanted to get married, our grandfather Hermann, my cousin Doris, her husband Günther and I flew over to Canada to celebrate the amorous couple.
We had a wonderful time in Canada, were introduced to the Board Game "Tuk" and played it over and over again with Claudette, my uncle Carl and Michèle and had the most marvelous day on the day of the wedding.
Michèle and Jed made a beautiful couple and radiated happiness.

In the last couple of years Michèle and her family made two visits to Germany and we revived our friendship.
Even though we didn't see each other often, we always hold each other dear in our hearts.

We send our deepest condolences and a warm hug to all of Michèles friends and family and especially to Claudette, Jed, Amber and Jeremy.
Annette (with Matthias and Anne)

Michele was my cousin. When she was a child she often spent her summer holidays in Germany at her grandparents house, especially when her dad was working in Ireland. She was really quite at home with her cousins and her German family. Our longtime neighbour Käthe, now 84-, was crying heavily, when told about Michele´s passing: She was such a sunshine when she was here, like the daughter I never had, Käthe couldn´t understand or speak German but Michele picked the German language up so fast that she could communicate fluently with Käthe after only a week or so. Her language skills were not the least of her many talents. What really impressed me was the fact that Michele taught herself so much German that she was able to write her annual Christmas letters to her family and friends in Germany in German. I know how difficult our language is having taught German as a foreign language for most parts of my professional life. So I will say goodby in our special German way: tschüss Michele !

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to Michele`s husband Jed,Amber and Lee Ann ,Jeremy,Chantee and Aurora and Michele`s Mom Claudette.
I went to school with Michele in Nenagh ,Co Tipperary Ireland and I have many happy memories of this time .
Michele was always interesting and fun to be around. In 2001 approximately ,Michele and her family visited Ireland
and I had the pleasure of meeting her and the kids ,Claudette and her beloved partner also .This was a very happy time
as we had so much catching up to do .Over the years we have remained in contact and I have extreme admiration for the
way she coped with her illness .....such strength and dignity.
Rest in Peace Friend ,Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers .,

Michele was a happy and loving lady who lived every day to the fullest. I remember her smile and her great mind! This will live on in her children and grand child. We became friends with our love of theatre and she became a real good asset to our theatre family.

With profound sympathy to the family. We knew Michelle through the Espanola dog walks when she came with her beloved Zach. She was a wonderful person, so kind and caring to human and animal. She had such a wonderful smile, it was like she gave a hug with it. She will be truly missed. J & E Roberts, Espanola.
