Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at Health Sciences North surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of 28 years of Ronald Lalonde predeceased on February 5th, 2019. Loving mother of Sam Iorfida (Helene) and Joseph Iorfida and stepmother of Donald (Rose) and Gerald (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Nathan, Amanda (Matt), Christine (Jon), Brandon (Melissa), Susie (Andy), Karen, Jenna (Eric), Josh (Kayla), Cathy (Space), Jennette, Jung L’Ill, Jeong Sook, Hannah, Jin Won and great grandmother to many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William and Yvette (Varieur) Gibson both predeceased. Dear sister of Roger (Molly), Thomas (Shirley) both predeceased, Ronald (Diane), Clayton (Judy), Theresa Lamothe (John predeceased) and Laurie. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was a beloved mother and grandmother who always proudly displayed all her “knickknacks”. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She never lost her wit and was always smiling. Her family was the light of her life.
At Carolyn’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial at a later date in Burpee, Ontario. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
