Obituary for Brian Harold Green

BRIAN GREEN
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian Harold Joseph Green, age 65; surrounded by his loving family at the Maison McCullough Hospice on Friday June 21st.
A very devoted son to Laurette and the late Harry Green (predeceased in 1993). He was the third eldest in a family of 9 children.
A do-anything-for-you-brother and best friend to Larry, Judy, Colette, Brenda, Cindy, Bruce, Nancy, and George. A very special brother-in-law to Gerry Burke, Karen Dwyer-Green, and Richard Tisdale. Uncle Brian will be very sadly missed by his Godson Kelly Burke (Jamie), Lisa Kimmerly (Dallas) ,Greg and Amanda Green; Jennifer Green, Melissa and Buddy Carpenter; Kristofer Perretta (Anick); Joshua Green, Kaitlyn and Jaymes Green and several Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins... he loved every single one of you!!!
A very proud Canadian, Brian served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in his early years. His passion in life was his family, gardening, blueberry picking, fishing with his Bros, and a cold beer on a hot day by the lake.
The Green Family would like to thank Brian's team who made a difference during his EPIC cancer journey; specifically Dr. Deborah Saunders, Dr. Ishak, Dr. Shehata, Dr. Pearce, Dr. Noble, Dr. Ewing-Bui, Dr. Falk and Dr. Walton along with the dental team, dietitians, radiation therapists and oncology nurses of the Northeast Cancer Centre. Thank you to the staff at CBI home care and to Greg, his pharmacist.
Finally to Maison McCullough Hospice... what an amazing last leg in Brian's relay... we are forever grateful!
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dental Oncology Program of the Northeast Cancer Centre.
Rest in Peace Brother! You've earned it!
God help those Angels with red hair and green eyes…

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, June 27th at 4pm at the Lougheed Funeral Home, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive in Hanmer. Friends may call after 1pm.
