It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian Harold Joseph Green, age 65; surrounded by his loving family at the Maison McCullough Hospice on Friday June 21st.
A very devoted son to Laurette and the late Harry Green (predeceased in 1993). He was the third eldest in a family of 9 children.
A do-anything-for-you-brother and best friend to Larry, Judy, Colette, Brenda, Cindy, Bruce, Nancy, and George. A very special brother-in-law to Gerry Burke, Karen Dwyer-Green, and Richard Tisdale. Uncle Brian will be very sadly missed by his Godson Kelly Burke (Jamie), Lisa Kimmerly (Dallas) ,Greg and Amanda Green; Jennifer Green, Melissa and Buddy Carpenter; Kristofer Perretta (Anick); Joshua Green, Kaitlyn and Jaymes Green and several Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins... he loved every single one of you!!!
A very proud Canadian, Brian served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in his early years. His passion in life was his family, gardening, blueberry picking, fishing with his Bros, and a cold beer on a hot day by the lake.
The Green Family would like to thank Brian's team who made a difference during his EPIC cancer journey; specifically Dr. Deborah Saunders, Dr. Ishak, Dr. Shehata, Dr. Pearce, Dr. Noble, Dr. Ewing-Bui, Dr. Falk and Dr. Walton along with the dental team, dietitians, radiation therapists and oncology nurses of the Northeast Cancer Centre. Thank you to the staff at CBI home care and to Greg, his pharmacist.
Finally to Maison McCullough Hospice... what an amazing last leg in Brian's relay... we are forever grateful!
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dental Oncology Program of the Northeast Cancer Centre.
Rest in Peace Brother! You've earned it!
God help those Angels with red hair and green eyes…

It was with great sadness that we learned of Brian's passing; please accept our condolences. Words are never adequate in moments like these. We will say though, that our hearts go out to you, we will always remember the memories that we are privileged to have known Brian....aka: 'Oui Oui' he was a dear and kind soul.
Brian earned the name 'Oui Oui' back in the day (the 80's) when he lived in Devon, Alberta. for those that didn't know. We all spent a lot of time together, partied hard and crazy under the big blue Alberta sky, we enjoyed his company and presents in every way, especially when we would all have a few under our belts, then Brain would proceed to talk to all of us in We had no idea what he was rambling on about at the time? We just agreed with him, 'Oui Oui' and carried on, that's when he earned the nickname. It was all in fun, never a dull moment with him around, he was a joker and had a great sense of humour every minute of the day.
It was unfortunate that most of us parted ways and never kept in contact later on in life, but all the great times and memories that we had will last forever.
Brain you were a great friend to all of us. You had all of our respect. You were a one of a kind. Rest in peace brother, bye bye Oui Oui...until we meet on the other side.
From your old buddies and friends from Devon!
Randy Yakimchuk....Wally Franks....Gord McNaughton...Rick Yakimchuk....Larry Dunbar....Rick Brattinga....Darcy Nickel....the Yakimchuk family.

Brian was a gentle man with a wonderful disposition and a great wit, it was a pleasure to have spent time with him.
My thoughts are with his beautiful mom and family.
So long "chum"
