Obituary for Jessie Ann Cameron (Kennedy)

In loving memory of Jessie Ann Cameron (Kennedy) who passed away Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at her home at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Bernard Cameron. Loving mother of Donna MacIsaac (Danny) of Sudbury, Daniel (Candy) of Capreol, Leo (Jessie) of Hanmer, Debbie Dempsey (Al) of Hanmer, Frank (Helene) of Hanmer and Farrell (Tracey) of Capreol. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Angus and Janet (Gillis-MacIsaac) Kennedy and siblings John (Mary), Leo, Margaret, Christina McLean (John), Donald (Pauline), Leona Shaw (John), Belle Smith (John Alex), Mary MacIsaac (Jack), Neilena MacArthur (Charles), John MacIsaac (Annie Bell) and Daniel MacIsaac. Mom passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family, She fought a courageous battle until the end with a warm smile and a great sense of humour. Jessie raised her children to be hard working, caring people and instilled in them a love and pride in their Scottish heritage. She was a skilled step dancer and loved dancing and music. She had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds especially her feathered friend Spanky. Jessie will now join her parents, brothers, sisters and beloved granddaughter Angie for eternity. Rest in peace Mom, until we meet again.
Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury where friends may gather on Friday from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass at St. Kevin’s Church, 4610 St. Theresa Street, Val Therese on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at 11am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
