ROSS, Lionel Roméo - After a short battle with cancer, Lionel passed away on May 25th, 2019 at home in his 75th year. Predeceased by his spouse Gwen McLeod in 2011. Loving son of Peter and Jean Ross predeceased. Survived by his son Peter (Diane) and grandson Ryan of Garson. Predeceased by his brother Regenald, sisters Aurise, Louise, and Bernadette. Survived by Louis (Diane) of Capreol, Anita Way (Brian predeceased) of Capreol, John (Louise) of Hanmer, Joyce (Richard) of Val Caron, and Madeleine (Marcel) of Mattawa.

Lionel leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and Johnny’s dog Trooper, whom he got attached to.

Special thanks to his best friend Mel, who spent time with him during his last few weeks. Another special thanks to Anthony and Grant from the Capreol Nurse Practitioner’s office, and Bayshore nursing staff James and Marianne for their care and compassion.

Lionel’s last request was to die at home, and through love, dedication, and hard work from his sisters Joyce and Anita and brother Johnny (and Louise), we made that wish come true.
