John Charles Dollar (65 Years)
Who passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Beloved husband of Lynne Dollar (nee Grieve) of Hanmer. Cherished father of Melony (predeceased) and Shawn (Catherine). Treasured grandfather of Jordyn, Austin and Olivia. Dear son of Melville and Doreen Dollar (both predeceased). Brother of Brian Dollar (Sharon) and Wendy Gibbons (Alan). Not to mention that he will be missed by many.
John will be fondly remembered by family and friends as an extremely dedicated and committed strong working father. Having served 40 years on the railroad with CN, John was always ready to take on as many working hours as he could. Besides being an extremely talented woodworking craftsman and building his first family house and cottage, John managed to always keep himself occupied and had many activities and groups of social friends that he has left his mark with; Hunting, Fishing, Poker, Billiards, Car Shows, and not to forget his favorite restaurant chain “Tim Horton’s”.
At Johns request their will be no visitation or Service.
Cremation with interment in the family Plot in Monetville.
Donations in John’s memory to the “Make a Wish Foundation”.
