It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, lovingly surrounded by his family at the age of 86 years old, on Monday, April 8th 2019 at St. Gabriel’s Villa, Chelmsford. Beloved husband of the late Edith Gladu (née Boyd). Loving father of Lorraine Beaudry(Don), Linda (predeceased), Rejeanne Rancourt (Mike), Lilliane Chevrier (Robert), Louise Mathieu (Dan), Penny (predeceased), Carole Gladu (Cleo), Fern Jr. Gladu, Alain Gladu (Valerie). Cherished grandfather of Junior (Brigitte), Angele (Andre), Liane (Jason), Alain, Nathalie (Christopher),Micheline (Corey), Christine (Dan), Chantal (Billy), Danny, Mitchel, Lissa (Sheri), Eric, Ricky, Abby, Ty . Also great-grandfather of Shyanne, Cassandra, Grayson, Dominik, Makayla, Kaylee, Clayton, Lela, Karsen, Riley, Ryann, Graham, Amy, Braeden, DJ, Kaiden, Avery, Danika, Kylie, Brody, Mia, Bella, Thomas and Kaeleb. Dear son of Louis and Marie Louise Gladu (née Gascon) (both predeceased). Dear brother of Noella Desjardins, Fernande Gervais, Lucille Paquette (John), Sylvio Gladu, Raymond Gladu, Robert (Claire) Gladu, Donald (Francoise) Gladu and Gerard (Gilberte) Gladu . Predeceased by Edouard, Claire, Lucien, Armand, Pauline, Aline and Roger. Fern worked for Falconbridge Limited, once retired he loved carpentry. He was happiest when surrounded by his family.
