Claudette Gisèle (née Ouimet) Ranger

Peacefully Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury.

Beloved wife of 61 years to Maurice Ranger. Loving mother of Louise Quesnel (Noël), Jocelyne Benoit (Yvon Ranger) and Jo-Anne Neault (predeceased). Loving grandmother of Renée Quesnel (Chris Mask), Alain Ranger (Shannon McCormick), Sarah Roy (Shawn), Ronnie Neault (Candace), Joël Neault and Charles (predeceased) and great grandchildren Ajay, Ethan, Keera, Olivia, Ryder, Jaxon, Gabrielle and Brayden. Dear daughter of Maurice and Emma (Lavallée) Ouimet both predeceased. Dear sister of Constance Lachapelle (Gerry predeceased), Léo Ouimet predeceased (Colleen) and Pauline Maisonneuve (Gerry). A longtime resident of Wahnapitae, she married her husband in 1957. She had been a custodian at the Public School Board and Extendicare Falconbridge. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, crafts, gardening, bingo and cards. She will be remembered as a very social person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. The focus of her life was her family especially her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was happiest in their company and hosting them for family dinners and parties. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the staff, nursing staff and PSW’s at St. Joseph’s Villa for all their care and support. A special thank you to Dr. James Chau.
