Leona (Richer) Hamilton
82 years
Peacefully, she closed her eyes for the last time and was reunited with her husband on their anniversary, Valentine’s Day.
Beloved wife of Jack Hamilton predeceased 1996. Loving mother of Herb (Jane), Yvonne (Gilbert Berube), Jim (Melanie), and Jack (Lynne predeceased). Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of Wilfred and Beatrice Richer both predeceased. Survived by her sister Theresa Dupuis. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She leaves a wonderful legacy of love and strong family values. She was a lifetime resident of Capreol and a member of Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Special thanks to the nurses on the 4th Floor HSN for their care and kindness. At Leona’s request there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
