Obituary for Anne "Annie" Louise Zacharosky (Janiga)

In Loving Memory
of
Anne “Annie” Zacharosky

Peacefully on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 at the age of 87 at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury.

Beloved wife of Andrew “Andy” Zacharosky Sr., predeceased 2009. Loving mother of Deborah Lafortune (Robert), Susan Doucet (David), Nancy Koutsoukis (Tony Kehoe), Annie Greenslade and Andrew Zacharosky Jr. Cherished Grandma of Marcy Visockas (Kirk), Jason Lafortune (Tiffany), Elaina Mansourian (Joseph), Stephanie Koutsoukis, Anastasia Renaud (Michael), Samantha Doucet, Scott Doucet, Mathew Greenslade, Ava Zacharosky and great grandchildren Victoria, Oliver, Hugo, Levi and one on the way. Dear daughter of the late Albert and late Anastasia (Ormandi) Janiga. Dear sister of Mary Mousseau (late Garfield), late Albert “Abby” Janiga (Elizabeth), Emily “Mickey” Candusso (Bruno) and late Helen Morin (Cyril). Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Her zest for life surpassed all others, her family was the focus of her life and she was happiest when in their company. She will be remembered for her delicious Apple pies and Slovak dishes. She worked at Sears and other various jobs. Annie was always up for a party and to go out for dinner anytime. She enjoyed weddings, showers, barbeques, etc., anything to get together with family. She loved her music, especially Lawrence Welk, Bobby Vinton and Daniel O’Donnell. She was constantly knitting for someone in her family. Annie always had a smile for others and never said a bad word about anyone. Thank you to Extendicare Falconbridge where she lived for the last 18 months, all the PSW’s and nurses for the great care.
