Obituary for Burton "Burt" Rollins

In Loving Memory
of
Burton “Burt” Rollins
89 Years
Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at Pioneer Manor
Beloved husband of Kathleen (Martin) Rollins. Loving father of Martin (Laurie) and Bradley (Roberte). Cherished grandfather and the light of Burt’s life, Jonah. Dear son of Judson and Emma Rollins both predeceased. Dear brother of Alvin (Buddy) and Elmer (Mary), all predeceased. Sadly missed by special friends Mark, Cindy, Shelby, Sabrina, and Liam Smith.
Burt proudly served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 25 years and then served as a professor in the electronics department at Cambrian College for 20 years. He was a caring and dedicated volunteer, teaching for the Elizabeth Fry at the jail to upgrade the incarcerated and he spent many years helping on pastoral care at the Memorial Hospital. Burt was a very devout member of the First Baptist Church, serving in many capacities as a deacon, treasurer, usher and Sunday school teacher. The family would like to thank the Park Place staff at Pioneer Manor for their devoted care of Burt over the last 3 years.
