In loving memory of “Pitka” Erkki Nurmela who passed away Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at Finlandia Village at the age of 87 years. He was survived by his good friend and partner Anja and remembered fondly by the Zubal and Ojala families. Erkki is sadly missed by his sisters Anja and Alli and brother Elmari and their families along with family and friends in Finland and Canada.
At Erkki’s request, there will be no visitation. A remembrance service will be held at Finlandia Village. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. (Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.)
