who passed away at Extendicare Falconbridge on October 21st, 2018.

Beloved husband of Diane Dempsey (nee Brousseau). Cherished father of Debbie (Grant) Hurd and Jennie (Dave) Mior . Proud Pepère of Cody (Angele) Hurd, Leena Battams (Dan), Eddy Battams, Chad Hurd (Jamie), Colin Hurd and Stevie Mior (Matt). Treasured great grandpa to Abby and Becca Hurd. Dear son of Edgar and Emelda Dempsey (both predeceased). Will be sadly missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Will be deeply missed by his friend Harvey. Good friend of Bill W for 28 ½ years. Edward loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a great car enthusiast as he loved his car shows and collecting hub caps. He could often be found collecting scraps at the junk yard. Above all Edward was a family man and loved spending time with his family. Special thank you to the activity and 3rd floor west wing staff at Falconbridge Extendicare



At Edward’s request there will be no visitation or service.
