Beloved husband of Jen (predeceased).
Dearest father of Marc Peloso (wife Claudia), Jennifer Piche (husband Bob Piche), Mona Giommi (husband Rick Giommi) of Sudbury and Cara Peloso (husband Danny Miller) of New York.
Cherished “Bacco” to Adam, Amanda, Brad, Julie, Eric, Mia, Noah and Sadie. Great Grandfather to Mila, Fiona and Simone.
Predeceased by parents, Filiberto and Jenny Peloso, sisters Bertha Christian (Lido), Norma Casola (Lewis), brother, Larry Peloso (Eileen) and sister Geraldine Court. Brother to Theresa Trumble and brother-in-law to Richard Court, Monique Allain and Orio Talevi. Predeceased by sister-in-law’s Emilda Holt, Juliette Hughes, Yvonne Fleming, Lucien Williamson (Rus), Bernadette Hewitson, Jean Talevi, Theresa Seeds and Rita LaGoffea (Henry) and brother-in-law, Syl Allain.
Orlando was the handyman of New Sudbury and beyond. He could build a tool shed, install an underground pool or put up a clothes line for a neighbour. He loved to hunt, curl or putter around in his back yard shed. He worked for Bell Canada for many years where many of his colleagues became great friends. Much of his time was spent giving back to the community by volunteering at the Oncology Clinic or participating in many Catholic Charities events. He was a wonderful father whose main focus in life was to ensure his children and grandchildren were well taken care of.
He deeply loved his wife, Jen, throughout their many years together. She was the twinkle in his eyes.
He has left us with heavy hearts, though knowing he is with Jen, helps lift our spirits.
Our family would like to thank the staff at The Westmount, Health Sciences North and Pioneer Manor for their kindness and understanding.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at 10am. Donations to a local Catholic charity would be appreciated.
