Obituary for
Rebecca Lee Anderson (Anderson)
In Loving Memory
of
Rebecca “Becca” Anderson
38 years
It is with mixed emotions that her family announces her passing Monday evening, April 23rd, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
No Longer suffering from metastatic breast cancer, she went peacefully on her terms with her loving parents, Jack (John Robert) and Lise (née Pilon) and her little brother John by her side. She will be greatly missed by her doting fur-babies Mookie and Jag. She leaves a hole behind in the hearts of her cousins/siblings- Dan (Tracy), Ann (Kristian), Sarah (Chris), and Matthew (Katie) and their children; Tommy, Sawyer, Will and Charlie. She will be greatly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, chosen family and friends. She has been reunited with her Mamère and Papère Juliette and René Pilon, her papa Roy Anderson (survived by her grandmother Muriel Anderson), her Opa Johannes Herold (survived by Oma Erma Herold), and her Mamère and Papère Lessard. She was very fortunate to be loved by so many. Becca gave more of herself to others than she ever asked in return. She loved to bake and share her goodies with friends and family. She had a mind that worked on a different level and could easily be misunderstood until you got to see her loving caring side. She had been asked so many times where her wisdom came from and all she could think is that she learned it from all the good times spent with Mamère and Papère at camp (her second home). Becca learned to enjoy the simple things in life and to take things in stride. Her spiritual being has been released to the world and hopefully help others to learn to slow down, enjoy the simple little things and really look at what truly matters in your life. Even when she was dealt a cruel hand, she did her best to look at the positive and laugh and be humble.
