We send our deepest condolences for your loss. Mercedes was such a love, such a beacon of light with her mischievous smile and twinkly eyes. We can picture her smiling at you from the heavens, rejoined with her true love Fern. We smile every time we think of Mercedes: watching you, Lori, come out of the water after your cross-lake Kelowna swim, and seeing the look of pride on your Mom's face. We also think back to that video that Dona took a few years ago, watching Mercedes as she inched her way into the water off Dona's dock. What an adventurous spirit she was. We feel blessed to have met her.

Condolence: On behalf of the entire Kinsella family we extend our heartfelt sympathies to all of Mercedes family. Our mom & dad were dear friends of Mercedes & Fern for over 60 years. I have very fond memories of Mercedes & Fern getting together with mom & dad & other dear friends to play their favourite card game on Saturday night. What great times they had together. On a personal note I had the opportunity to help care for Mercedes over the last 6 1/2 months and will forever cherish the time we spent together. What a dear sweet lady. Although I will miss her I’m at peace knowing her torment has ended. May God grant her eternal rest & all those who loved her the strength to deal with their loss.
